About Polka Dot Club
Second-generation teddy bear maker Jennifer Murphy, takes heritage toy making seriously! Jennifer learned the all-but-lost art of teddy bear making from her mother, Patricia, and has taken her art to new levels. At the turn of the 20th century, the finest teddy bears and plush animals were made from mohair “fur”, wool felt, and wool stuffing. Jen continues in that tradition, using fine mohair fur woven onto cotton backing to create her delightful heirloom-quality bears. Handcrafted in Minneapolis, each Polka Dot Club item is a treasure, sure to be loved for years.
