Stasher was born out of an unwavering commitment to reduce single-use plastics. Some might call it an obsession. We'd call it a passion for a better world. Each day, we have the opportunity to make better choices for the environment — like using reusable bags and straws and buying food in bulk. And together, we can turn small daily shifts into big impact.

They are a certified B Corp, which means that Stasher HQ, their factory, and their suppliers must maintain good and responsible practices. They’re also a member of 1% For The Planet, which means that 1% of all their sales go to high-impact non-profits that protect our oceans. Stasher invites you to join in our mission to make wasteful single-use plastic a thing of the past.

WHY STASHER?  Endlessly useful, reusable, durable, and non-toxic - you can put it in the microwave, the dishwasher, a boiling water bath, the fridge or freezer, even the oven! Stasher bags end the tyranny of lids with their patented Pinch-Loc™ seal and compact design.

WHAT EXACTLY IS SILICONE?  Silicone is made from sand (silica) and carbon, natural resources that give Stasher bags the purity of glass and functionality of plastic. Better yet, Stasher products are made of 100% pure platinum grade silicone — a standard even higher than food grade silicone, passing all U.S. safety requirements and even tougher European standards.

Silicone is safer, more flexible, and more sustainable than plastic. Plastic is a petroleum-based product that introduces toxic chemicals to our food, and environmental concerns to our planet.

STASHER REPURPOSED! Stasher plays on! They’ve made Stasher bags as reusable as possible, but should you need to dispose of any their repurposing program will convert them into safe playground pebbles. Silicone is recyclable, but only at specific facilities, like the one created by Stasher. The benefits of this include:

  • preventing pollution by reducing the need to harvest new raw materials and use energy
  • reducing greenhouse gas emissions to help sustain the environment for future generations
  • saving money
  • reducing the amount of waste needing to be recycled or sent to landfills and incinerators
  • allowing products to be used to their fullest extent
